 |  | "Canopy"is one of a series of eight contemporary house designs utilising Lockwoods unique timber construction and jointing systems.
These designs, commissioned by the successful Australasian prefabricated house manufacturer Lockwood, provide an exciting range catering for many variations in site conditions and customer requirements, whilst also being designed within the parameters of the Lockwood system.

TOURIST LODGE, MAHINEPUA, NEW ZEALAND

 |  | Located in an idyllic bay in the far north of New Zealand, this private house and guest lodge caters to local and international guests drawn by its proximity to world renowned game fishing and marine recreation areas.
The rectangular architectural forms of this building are enveloped under a single convex triangular roof plane, which when viewed from the sea, evokes an image of a sail draped over the landscape.

REGIONAL AIRPORT DESIGN PROPOSAL

Entered in the 2000 AAA Bremworth Cavalier Architectural Awards, the extensive use of glass, structural elements in tension, and hi-tech detailing convey an architectural language of transparency and lightness, intended to contrast to notion of the "solidity" of ground.
